Maple/Mt. Vernon

A $12 Million preservation project using Low Income Housing Tax Credit, Historic Tax Credits, loan and investor equity to sustain affordability of  43 subsidized units in the Spring Garden/Art Museum area for the next 20 years.  The project won the 2018 Preservation Achievement Award from the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia.

 

Germantown/Mt. Airy

(PCNA)

Subcontracted with a local construction management firm and architectural firm to perform community outreach services to residents who reside in properties that were acquired by the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority.  The Maple Corporation mailed information packets, conducted interviews to collect unit condition information, coordinated environmental remediation services and scheduled property inspections.

Yorktown Arms I

Preservation of 56 subsidized units, 44 one-bedroom units and 12 two-bedroom units, with funding from the Housing Trust Fund (HTF), Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME funds. Renovations scheduled to begin Spring 2022.

North Philadelphia Community Help

Acquisition of land as well as currently owned lots, for an affordable housing development in North Central Philadelphia.  Land to be developed to create a second phase multifamily scattered site.

Northwest C.L.T. Shared Equity Housing Project

Acquisition of parcels of land in the Germantown / Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia to development and sell affordable homes for low-income families. As a Community Land Trust, the homes will remain affordable in perpetuity, regardless of future sales.

Germantown/Mt. Airy

(Public Engagement)

Lead of a professional team, contracted with PHDC, to provide public engagement services for the portfolio of approximately 140 residential properties owned by PRA located in the Germantown/Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia.

 

AHARI Veterans Village Project

Construction of a mixed-use veterans affordable housing complex with community space and support services in the University City section of Philadelphia. AHARI proposes the erection of a 13,264 SF 10-unit mixed use affordable apartment complex, complete with green space and a community room for event rental and programming.

 

Germantown Housing Justice

Acquisition of parcels in the Germantown / Mt. Airy sections of Philadelphia to develop, rent and sell to low- and moderate-income families.
